I always love challenging myself be it venturing into unknowns and turning them as my career path or be it into learning from anyone and anywhere. “How might I learn from this experience in Life “ .This time it was about: How might I bring senior leaders from diverse sectors under one roof and demystify design thinking by making them feel it and try it with tons of diverse case studies and activities, pushing their thinking to a new level.
This batch was a mix of Senior Leaders, CEOs, researchers, and innovation executives from healthcare, IT, government, food, hospitality, analytics and automobiles.
One of the things we did work on is how do we challenge our own assumptions rather judgements. Judgements very quickly turn into opinions and beliefs which is quite dangerous for leader’s growth and impacts the team and company as well.
Consider thinking about: how many of us would immediately start solving problem as soon as we just get to know a problem statement. We are too eager to start solution, not bothering about analysing if that is really the problem or not. This is where at times start-ups fail since they come up with product too fast, a product that actually may not be needed by the consumer.
